Goodland, Kansas resident Zane Gregory Shores, 15, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016.
Zane was born July 28, 2000, at Colby, Kansas, the son of Greg Shores and Tasha Goste. He was a student at Goodland High School.
Preceding him in death was his uncle Steve.
Surviving family includes Zane's father Greg Shores and his wife Sylvia; brother Dane; step-siblings Magen, Savannah, Vanessa, and Juan; uncle Mike and family; aunt Brenda and family; Zane's mother Tasha Goste; grandmother Bonnie King; aunt Tina and family; Tasha's daughters Kala and Karlee; as well as many extended family.
A family-directed memorial service will be on Sunday, February 14, at 1:30 PM MT, at the Goodland High School Auditorium.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Zane Shores Memorial, and may be mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS 67735-1555.
