Wanda Boeve

Longtime Sharon Springs, Kansas resident Wanda Louise Boeve, 66, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, Kansas.

She was born November 13, 1947, at Austin, Texas, the daughter of Bessie (Watson) and Thomas James Estepp.  She attended school at McCallum High School in Austin, Texas.

On October 19, 1973, she and Eldon Ray Boeve were married, and they made their home in Wallace County, Kansas.

Preceding her in death were her husband Eldon Boeve, who died November 25, 2011; her parents; and siblings J.T. Estepp, June Estepp, Opal Estepp, Maurice Estepp.

Surviving family includes her daughter Christine Goodall of Sharon Springs; adopted son Michael Boeve of Sharon Springs; four grandchildren; and one brother James Estepp and his wife Marilyn of Austin, Texas.

The memorial service will be on Friday, April 18, at 10:00 AM MT, at the Wesleyan Church, 309 W Second, in Sharon Springs, Kansas, with Pastor Bill Ball officiating.

Memorials may be designated to the Wanda Boeve Memorial, and may be mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS  67735-1555.
