He and his wife spent many years attending hundreds of rod runs and car shows with their friends. He also loved to attend the NHRA Mile High Nationals drag racing event with his friends as often as he could.

Roger was a member of the High Plains Performance Club, Early Iron Car Club where he was President for thirteen years. He thoroughly enjoyed the car club for the Rod Runs held every year with the Flatlanders Festival.

He also was a member of the Northwest Kansas Cruisers where many years were spent attending Rod Runs and making cherished friends for life.

He was a member of NRA and enjoyed shooting and collecting. He also enjoyed fishing and camping many weekends at Swanson Reservoir in Trenton, NE.

He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in St. Francis, KS. He was president of the church council for six years. He was a man of strong faith and truly loved the Lord, his church, his Pastor, and his church family.

Roger is survived by his wife Mindy of the home, his sister Linda Marshall of Hays, KS. He is also survived by four nephews, three nieces, three great nephews and one great niece; many cousins, his precious cat “Bubbles” and a host of friends.
