Patricia Ann Headley

Patricia Headley was born on October 15, 1962, passed away November 15, 2025, at the age of 63. She was born in Burlington, CO to Orlin & JoeAnna Tonsing she is the 7th of 12 children. She lived in many places around Colorado before moving back to Burlington in 2013. Pat worked at the Midway Theatre during high school, after graduation she renovated rental houses for several years before finally settling in Denver, CO where she met her lifelong partner Marla Cutler of 25 years. She then decided on going back to school to get the certification as a Health Professional II. Pat worked as an addiction's counselor for several years in Denver and then for the Colorado Department of Corrections in Burlington and then in Limon.

Pat always loved to play sports, cards and board games and was very competitive. When she was younger, she played volleyball, basketball, softball and did competitive swimming. One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards with her parents and other family members. When she became a mother, she shared and taught her kids the same love of sports and games, then when she became a grandmother "Nana" she also shared all of it with them and couldn't wait to go watch them in all of their school sporting events or have an evening of playing games especially rummy and sorry the board game. After multiple back surgeries she took up golf and for the past several years she went as often as she could. She was so proud that she got to introduce her love of golf to all of her grandkids but wasn't thrilled when they got better than she was (but secretly was so proud they will carry that on with them).

She always had a love for the water and spent many weekends at the lake with family and friends where she would rent a boat or jet skis. They would spend the whole weekend fishing, skiing, and tubing. The evenings were spent around the campfire playing some sort of game. Then she and Marla bought a couple of jet skis, and they would spend long weekends and vacations at Lake Mac with her friends Gail and Rod and several other friends and family. She loved family vacations with Marla, her daughter Cherri, son in law and grandkids just to bake in the sun by the ocean or visiting her son Chuck in the warmth of Mississippi.

Pat is preceded in death by her life partner Marla Cutler, her parents Orlin and JoeAnna Tonsing, brothers Randy Osborn, Terry Hines, David Hines, Dale Tonsing, Doug Tonsing, sister Pamela Tonsing and nephew Matthew Osborn.

She is survived by her Son Chuck Headley of Lucedale, MI, daughter Cherri Dennis (Michael) and grandkids Callie (Seth), Thomas (Brookley), Jason (Caira-gf), Liam, LillieAnn of Colby, KS. Brothers Rick Osborn (Betty) of Stratton, CO, Mike Tonsing (Linda), Huffman, TX, Bob Hines (Gina) of Burlington, CO Sisters Sandie Bailey, Hugo, Colorado, Cherry McCormick (James) Prescott, AR along with numerous Uncles, Aunts, cousins and nieces and nephews.
