Norma L. Siebert gained her heavenly wings on December 3, 2022, surrounded by family. Norma was born August 14, 1937, at her Grandparent’s farm in rural Lincoln County Kansas, the daughter of Elmer R. and Lola A. (Coffman) Geyer. She was the youngest of eight children.
Norma attended school in Leoti, Kansas and graduated from Wichita County High School. She married Howard C. Siebert on July 31, 1955, in Leoti, Kansas. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage. They raised their three children in Sharon Springs, Kansas. She loved her family dearly and was always ready to help her children and grandchildren. She was affectionately called Grandma Norma by 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
After Norma raised her children, she completed EMT training. She volunteered for the Wallace County EMT Association for 25 years, she also enjoyed volunteering for the Wallace County Amusement Association. She was a member of the Sharon Springs United Methodist Church.
Norma was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Cathy Siebert, Great Grandson Kyler Unruh, her parents, brothers: Virgil, Harold, Elmer Jr., Lloyd, Arthur, Sydney, and sister Betty Baker.
Norma is survived by her husband Howard, son Lonnie and Eva Siebert, son Kyle and Jamie Siebert, and daughter Allison and Ralph Mitchell. Grandma Norma is also survived by her grandchildren Dana (Chris) Robl, Ashley (Judd) McCurdy, Heather (Russell) Mowrer, Andrea (Billy) Unruh, Darci (Mike) Wilson, Jodi (Brent) Holper, Nathan (Rachel) Mitchell, Tadd (Shayna) Taylor, and Tori (Mike) Pettigrew. Norma will also be missed by her 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
