Longtime Goodland, Kansas resident Mary Faith Elliott, 84, died Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Goodland Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 10, 1931, at Macon, Missouri, the daughter of Nellie (James) and Donald Dennis McClain. She attended school at Ruleton, Kansas.
On July 27, 1948, she and Dee Gotchall were married and to them were born seven children. On June 30, 1985, she and Vic Edgell were married. On June 13, 1991, she and Oliver Elliott were married. She was a member of First Christian Church, Sweet Adelines, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were two step-children, her parents, husbands, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Surviving family includes children Jerry Gotchall and his wife Ruth of Torrington, Wyoming; Cynthia Didier of Sidney, Nebraska; Dan Gotchall and his wife Christi of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; Robert 'Timmy' Gotchall of Garden City; Don Gotchall and his wife Shelley of Great Bend; Curtis Gotchall and his wife Karen of Littleton, Colorado; Melissa Burke and her husband James of Goodland; two step-children; seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Don McClain of Goodland.
The funeral will be Saturday, September 5, at 9:00 AM MT, at First Christian Church in Goodland, with Pastor Doug Amend officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodland Cemetery.
Friends may share their respects on Friday, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM MT, at Koons Chapel in Goodland.
