Mark Robert Ricks

Mark Ricks passed away on October 30th, 2021 at the age of 63 at his home in Kanorado, Kansas.

He was born May 31st, 1958 in Vancouver, Washington to John “Bob” Ricks and Ellen (Guenther) Ricks. He was a 1976 graduate of Camas High School.

Mark is survived by a son Carl Ricks of Vancouver, Washington, Sisters Sharon Davis and Karen Siegel of Ridgefield, Washington and brother Matthew Ricks of Walla Walla, Washington. Also included as family is Hazel Estes whom Mark loved as a mother.

He is preceded in death by his parents John “Bob” Ricks and Ellen Clough and sister Sandra Ricks.

A celebration of life will be held on July 24th, 2024 at Kanorado Senior Center, 212 Main at 6pm.

Memorial donations may be given to Kanorado Fire Department or the Kanorado Museum and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.

In honor of his final wishes Mark’s remains will be spread in the Columbia River Gorge near his hometown.
