Lynelle Graham

April 29, 1965 — February 25, 2024

Denver, CO, Formerly of Burlington, CO

Lynelle Ann Graham (Dauenbaugh), beloved mother, sister, and friend passed away, unexpectedly, on February 25, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado.

She was born April 29, 1965, in Deer River Minnesota, to Wilma Jean Dauenbaugh(Cole) and Pierre Ronald Dauenbaugh. After the loss of her father from mental illness, Wilma and her two young daughters moved to Burlington, Colorado to live with their great uncle, Clarence Cole.  As a young woman, Lynelle had a passion for helping others and bringing joy to those around her.  She would light up the room with her fun spirit. Despite the many challenges she endured in life, she loved people, making them laugh with her fun sense of humor. She found joy and passion as a caregiver where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for decades taking care of others.

Raising three children in Burlington - Larissa Lynn Viner (Skrdlant), Jared Michael Cole (Macias) and Alisha Ann Conway (Stevison) - was both Lynelles' greatest joy and challenge. Though money was often tight, she always made sure her kids had what they needed. She could stretch a dollar further than anyone else, preparing delicious and creative meals on a shoestring budget. Lynelle was unwavering in her devotion to her family, becoming her brother Ron’s primary caregiver in 2010 until his death in 2018. She loved traveling to and visiting Jamaica, she even married 3 men from there. Above all, her grandchildren were the light of her life. Being a grandma “Nell” was her greatest achievement and she was so proud of each one of them; Olena Viner, Jamison Viner, Jai’Ceon Stevison, Ja’Niylah Conway, and Jzaden Conway.

She is preceded in death with her mother and father, a sister Cheryl Marie Bushey, brother Ronald Eugene Dauenbaugh, Great Uncle Clarence Cole.

She is survived by her Sister Janet Wylie (Dauenbaugh), Daughters Larissa and Alisha, Son Jared and all of her grandchildren who will miss her loving nature.

“You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.”           Author Unknown.

She was very old fashioned, and believed strongly, everyone needs a funeral service.
