Jennifer Phillips

Jennifer K. Phillips, age 56, passed away from cancer December 8, 2019, at home in Denver, Colorado.

Jennifer was born October 30, 1963, in Colby, Kansas.  She graduated from Goodland High School in 1982.  On July 13, 1985, she and Andrew Phillips were married. They moved to Denver in 1986 where she worked at K-Mart in Englewood Colorado for more than 10 years.  She left work to stay home and raise her children and eventually went back to work at Michaels as a cake decorating instructor for Wilton Cakes where she worked for more than 8 years before cancer prevented her from doing that anymore.

At Jennifer’s passing she was survived by her husband of 34 years, M. Andrew Phillips, her daughter Gessica Phillips, and grandson Nosyah Phillips, her son Mathew (Maria) Phillips, her parents Robert and Judith McKnight, stepmother Carolyn Bird, her brothers and sisters William “Bill” McKnight, Bobbie Jo McKnight, Cheryl (John) Baker, Tina (Bruce) Gleason, A.R.(Sunday) McKnight, along with a host of nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Peggy Phillips and sister-in-law Amanda (Chris) Ross.

She is preceded in death by her biological father Claude Miller, brother Larry McKnight, Grandmother Mary David, Grandpa Francis David, and father-in-law Martin Phillips.
