Inez Deplata

Lifelong Goodland, KS resident, Inez Vaylene Patton DePlata, 85, joined family and friends in Heaven on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

Inez was the last of 10 children born to Carl & Edith Patton on Dec 27, 1934.

Inez enjoyed the time that she could spend with family & friends and could be seen working in her yard and the gardens she loved. She also cherished her time out with friends. She worked at Good Samaritan, Calvary Gospel Church, and Big Brothers and Sisters.  She had a great love for Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior and was an active member of Calvary Gospel.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Frank, Fred, Wallace, and Willis, sisters Mildred, Margaret, Ruby, and Iris, a son - Wesley Rice and a great grandson - Blake Gulledge.

She is survived by a brother Raymond Patton and four of her children; daughters Gloria (Doug) Curtis and Jeanette (David) Ruddell, sons Duane (Ronda) Rice and Tony (Shawna) DePlata, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Inez will be missed as a mother, a grandmother and a good friend.
