Eunice Weber

Longtime Goodland, Kansas resident Eunice Jane (Lintel) Weber, 84, died Saturday, November 22, 2014, in Goodland at Good Samaritan Society—Sherman County.

She was born July 27, 1930, in Oakley, Kansas, the daughter of Mary (Mader) and Herman Lintel.  She graduated from Oakley High School with the class of 1947.

On November 3, 1947, she and Charlie Weber were married at Denver, Colorado, and in 1952, they moved from Oakley to Goodland.  Her memberships included Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Altar Society, and VFW Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Charlie; daughter Shirley Endres; grandsons Jeffrey Weber and Jordan Amthor; sisters Laverna Robben and her husband Francis; Elaine Hammerschmidt and her husband Elmer; Marietta Snyder and her husband Byron; brothers-in-law John Swart, Ralph Kruse, and Pius Heier.

Surviving family includes children Gary Weber and his wife Anna Mary of Milliken, Colorado; Jim Weber and his wife Sandy of Burlington, Colorado; Becky Wishcop and her husband Steve of Berthoud, Colorado; Dennis Weber and his wife Patty of Hays; Debbie Nider and her husband Mark of Burlington, Colorado; Lori Amthor and her husband Jerry of Goodland; son-in-law David Endres of Spearville; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters Lela Heier of Sharon Springs; Geraldine Swart of Grinnell; Armella Kruse of Oakley; and brother Donnie Lintel of Kingman, Arizona.

Friends may share their respects at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland on Friday, November 28, from 5:00 until 6:00 PM MT.  Vigil and rosary follow at 6:00 PM MT.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 29, at 10:00 AM MT, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland, with Father Norbert Dlabal presiding.  Burial will be in the Goodland Cemetery.

Memorials may be designated to Hospice Service of Sherman County or Our Lady’s Guild (of OLPH Catholic Church), and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N Main, Goodland, KS  67735-1555.
