Elsie Lorraine (Bowker) Miller, 83, passed away on February 4th, 2023 in Paris, TX. Elsie was born March 19, 1939 in Stratton, CO to Klein P. Bowker and Lucille Willy Bowker. Elsie was raised on a farm in Stratton in her earlier years and then the family moved to Burlington, CO.  Elsie was the oldest of 12 children. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1957.

Elsie was living in Goodland, KS when she met Robert J Miller. They were married on July 1st, 1960.  They raised 3 children Edwin Ray, Kimberly Kay and Lori Ann.

Elsie dedicated her life to her children as they grew. Attending all school events, sporting events and countless swim meets. She was always their biggest fan and carried that enthusiasm thru to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. If anyone of them was competing she did her best to be in the front row cheering them on. In her spare time she was an avid bowler and golfer. Elsie cherished her friendships she gained thru both activities. After the children were grown she worked for Finley Motors and then Goodland Motor Company. She moved to Paris, TX in 2007 to be closer to family.

Elsie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Miller, her son, Edwin Ray Miller and her daughter, Kimberly Kay Knox. 3 sisters, Alta Mae House, Kay Stephens and Janice Young. 2 brothers, Jim Bowker and Bill Bowker.

Survivors include: Daughter, Lori (Tony) Cox. Grandchildren: Steve (Shasta) Smith, Bob (Vanessa) Miller, Dusty (Courtney) Knox, Jamie Knox, Sean (Bethany) Cox, Cody (Brittany) Cox and Kaitlyn Cox. Brother: Bruce Bowker. Sisters: Carol Tracy, Nancy Michael, Phyllis Dering, Beverly Bowker and Jackie (Cip) Sandoval. Brother-in-law: Ken Stephens. Sister-in-Law: Sharon Bowker. 11 Cherished Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
