Goodland, Kansas resident Deborah S. Albright, 63, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society—Sherman County in Goodland.

She was born March 2, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of Joe and Naomi (Webber) Stimach. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1967. She received her Bachelor's degree from Emporia State University and went on to receive her Master's degree from Peru State College.
Deborah was an elementary school teacher for 31 years. She taught in Cuba and Leavenworth, Kansas and a short time at Peru State.

On July 28, 1978, Deborah was united in marriage to Donald Earl Albright in Leavenworth, Kansas. She was a lifelong teacher, and she always looked at life through those glasses.  She and Donald moved from Southeast Nebraska to Goodland in May.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Donald of their home in Goodland, her son Eric and his wife Lana and their children Silas and Jaden, of Goodland. Also surviving is her brother Ted of Walcott, IA.

Funeral services for Deborah will be Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 4:30 PM MT at the Goodland Church of Christ with Brent Flanders officiating.
There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Cremation will take place following the service.

Memorials may be designated to Hospice Services-Sherman County, and may be left at or mailed to Koons Funeral Home, 211 N. Main, Goodland, KS  67735-1555.
