Beverly Johnson

Longtime Goodland, KS resident, Beverly Gwenelle Johnson, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Goodland Regional Medical Center. She was in the company of her husband, Harold Johnson.

Beverly was born in Fresno, California on May 28th, 1955 to Conroy and Barbara Lovins. She was the only sister of 3 bothers - Jerry, Carl, and Joseph. Beverly decided early on in life that she wanted to be a nurse. She attended college and obtained her CNA license early on in life. She then relocated to Kansas.

She soon met Chet, the father of her first son, Michael. She then soon met the love of her life, Harold Johnson. They united in marriage on June 15th, 1996. September of the same year, they had twins together, Sean and Heath Johnson. She continued her work as a CNA and was a busy mom, raising twins and working full time.

Beverly and Harold then decided to relocate to Goodland, KS - where she would spend the remainder of her life. Beverly quickly began working at Goodland Regional Medical Center, where she would retire, and was immediately loved and known for her excellence in her profession. The only thing she loved more than her work was her family.

Unfortunately, Bev then suffered a stroke and was forced into early retirement. She remained at home for the remainder of her life in the surroundings of her son Heath and husband Harold. After this stroke, she lived on 15 more great years and was able to meet her grandchildren - which she loved so much. Beverly then passed away in the afternoon of March 25th, 2023.

She is survived by her husband Harold, her 3 sons Michael (Jayne), Heath, and Sean (Shania), 4 grandchildren, and many other loved family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Conroy and Barbara, her brother Carl, 2 grandchildren, and many other people she loved in her life.
